News, Tools, Fun and
Free Stuff
Welcome! We're still at work on our resource
center. When it's finished, you can come here for a variety of
resources. Here's the vision: A free e-zine, a
news center for media information, a publications section
(what have we written/produced, what has been published about us and
what others have written that we believe is on topic and has value
to you) favorite quotations (yours and ours), surveys
(your opinion, actions, plans), and links to other
sites we think you'll find thought provoking, fun, or a valuable
resource. When these are up and running, we'll look around for more.
Any suggestions?? E-mail:
rhi@renaissancehouse.com.
Meanwhile, there's kernels of wisdom in the quotes below.
E-zine:
From Here subscription and archives.
Quite frankly,
at first we may publish intermittently as we find something we
believe will be of interest and value to our readers or when we have
time to write.
Our goal is to
establish regular publication dates, but we'll
opt for quality over regularity. Check back here and try us out.
Meanwhile feel free to send
us your requests, comments, or content you wish to share. (We'll give
you credit for any content we use, so include your name, title and
company.) Be sure to put "E-zine" in the subject line of your
e-mail. rhi@renaissancehouse.com.

Quotations
For when you need
inspiration, motivation or a memorable quote for a speech you plan
to give.
Nobody will give you
freedom; you have to take it.
--
Meret Oppenheimer
Do not despair, it
interferes with work.
--
Florence Nightingale
There is no such thing as
failure, there is quitting or there is success.
--
Eleanor Roosevelt
Yes, we did produce a
near-perfect republic. But will they keep it? Or will
they, in the enjoyment of plenty, lose the memory of freedom?
Material abundance without character is the path of destruction.
-- Thomas Jefferson
Character is what you are
in the dark.
-- Dwight L. Moody

"I liked your quote section, here are some of my favorites that I

"Trust that which gives you meaning and accept it as your guide."

The W. H. Murray quote from "The Scottish Himalayan
Expedition", with the Goethe quote at the end: "Until one is
committed there is chance to draw back; always ineffectiveness.
Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation) there is one
elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and
splendid plans: that the moment one commits oneself, then providence
moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would not
otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the
decision, raising in one's favour all manner of unforeseen incidents
and meetings and material assistance which no man would have dreamed
would come his way." I have learned a deep respect for one of
Goethe's couplets: "Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin
it! Boldness has genius, magic and power in it."
"The purpose of life is to discover your gift. The meaning of life is to
give it away." --David Viscott
"Press on. Nothing can take the place of persistence."
-- Calvin
Coolidge
"The greatest good you can do for another is not just to share your
riches, but to reveal to him his own." -- Benjamin Disraeli
